Jeffery⁹ ROBERTSON {III} (Jeffery¹⁰, Jeoffrey¹¹, Rev William¹², John¹³, Thomas¹⁴, William¹⁵, William¹⁶, David¹⁷, Gilbert¹⁸, John¹⁹, Alexander²⁰, Robert "Riach"²¹ DUNCANSON of STRUAN, Duncan²² of RANNOCH, Robert²³ , Duncan "The Stout"²⁴ of ATHOLL)⁽¹¹²⁾ was born in Chesterfield County, Virginia 15 JAN 1737. Jeffery died 2 APR 1827 in Buckingham, Virginia, at 90 years of age.

He married Sarah NORVILLE 1757. Sarah was born 9 SEP 1730. Sarah was the daughter of George NORVILLE and unknown. Sarah died 17 SEP 1812 at 82 years of age. Enrolled in Virginia State Militia in January 1781 and served three months.

Was in moderate circumstances; followed the occupation of overseer from the time of Norvell ROBERTSON's birth until his 13th year. Following this Jeffery settled on land of his own which was unimproved.

Jeffery ROBERTSON III and Sarah NORVILLE had the following children:

131 i. Rhoda⁸ ROBERTSON was born 30 SEP 1760. Rhoda died 12 OCT 1852 in St. Charles, Missouri, at 92 years of age. She married Gregory GANNAWAY. Gregory was born 1753. Gregory was the son of John GANNAWAY and Mary MACGREGOR. Gregory died 1804 at 51 years of age. SOURCE NOTES: Information on Rhoda ROBERTSON GANNAWAY and her children including Rev.
