Asaph died 19 SEP 1889 at 86 years of age.

He married Sarah (Sallie) GRANBERRY. Sarah was born 12 DEC 1803. Sarah was the daughter of Loammi GRANBERRY. Sarah died 13 AUG 1853 at 49 years of age. SOURCE NOTES: D.A.R. Record, national number 443995. Lived in eastern Covington County, Mississippi.

Eliza was born 4 MAR 1838. Eliza died 19 MAY 1891 at 53 years of age. Her body was interred in Dry Prong, Louisiana.

Maude May ROBERTSON (dau. of Wheeler Erastus ROBERTSON, son of Norvell Loammi ROBERTSON) compiled the descendants of Norvell Loammi ROBERTSON. "In 1862 he entered the Confederate Army, but owing to bad health his service was not constant. He took part in the seige of Vicksburg and in the battle of Nashville. He commenced serving as a delagate to the Ebenezer Association in 1865 or 1866 and served continuously until 1878 and was constantly clerk for eleven or twelve years. In 1877 he was licensed to preach by Leaf River Church under the pastoral care of the venerable James P. Johnston, and in the following year was ordained to the full work of the ministry by Revs. Johnston and R.L. King, but only took charge of the Williamsburg church in the following winter, and removed himself to Grant Parish, Louisiana, in April, 1879. There he found himself in a hotbed of Arminians and being a Calvinistic Baptist he had great opposition and reproach to meet, which seemed to cripple his usefulness a great deal, but the Lord knows. In May, 1891, his wife died; and one year later he left La. and returned to his old neighborhood, and in January following he accepted the care of Prospect and Oral churches in the Pearl Leaf Association, which churches he still has on his hands. He says that his life has not been morally, religiously, intellectually, or financially such as he could wish and that he has never attained to that state of Christian perfection claimed by so many in these days, nor is he yet able to dispense with faith and walk by sight as some of his brethren seem to do." -- W.P. 101 iv. Jane Judson ROBERTSON was born 3 MAY 1833. Jane died in in Bante. She married William W. SELT in Poplarville, Mississippi, 17 OCT 1850.

102 v. Stephen ROBERTSON⁽⁹¹⁾ was born 22 MAY 1835. Stephen died 14 MAY 1862 at 26 years of age.⁽⁹²⁾ RESEARCH NOTES: Died in service of CSA at Kinnlrew Mountain. He married Mary C. ROBERTSON 17 NOV 1859.

Mary was born 16 JUL 1837. Mary died 15 FEB 1902 at 64 years of age. Served CSA.

103 vii. William Carey ROBERTSON was born 10 JUN 1839. William died 6 JUL 1886 in Covington Cty, MS, at 47 years of age. His body was interred in Family Cemetary, Leaf River Church, CovingtonCty, MS. He married Rosina Jane CHAMBERS. Rosina was the daughter of John CHAMBERS and Marcia WELCH. Rosina died 5 FEB 1906 in Jones Cty, MS.

104 viii. Franklin Asaph ROBERTSON was born 29 JUN 1842. He married Margret SPEED.

105 ix. Sarah Ann ROBERTSON was born in Covington Cty, MS 1 JAN 1845. Sarah died 16 JAN 1900 in Hattiesburg, Jones County, Mississippi, at 55 years of age. She married William Pitt CHAMBERS 2 JAN 1867. William was born in eastern boundary of Covington, Mississippi 14 DEC 1839. William⁽⁹³⁾ was the son of John CHAMBERS and Marcia WELCH. William died 17 JAN 1916 in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, at 76 years of age.⁽⁹⁴⁾
