Introducing the Haflingers
at the Parents' house

We arrived at the parents and Adirondack and Niles were great about unloading.

I love their attitude. New, strange place, with other horses neighing at them, and no prancing or excitement.  These guys just take things in stride.
Thistle on the left and Miaren on the right. Miaren's a year younger, but his TB background is definitely showing through.

First they met Emma over the fence. I wanted her separate, since she can do the most damage.
She was the least concerned, and when Niles jumped in with her over night, there was no fuss, and they were calmly eating hay together in the morning.
Miaren and Thistle were both a bit bossy. We moved Thistle in with Emma the next day, because he kept them away from the hay and was a pain.
Niles trotted around and investigated their new pasture. Out here they've got 15 acres to play on.
Adiron did a bit of cantering around.
Thistle worked to keep the twins away from Miaren.
Adiron is good at posing for the camera.
Thistle did a bit of herding around.
I think they'll enjoy all the wide open space. Miaren's already been asking them to play, but they don't run for as long as he does.
