Still working on the tower
The only stucco left is on the back sides. The windows are sealed
and most of the trim is in. This week the sills are getting put in.
We worked inside on the library ladder to the roof, and hopefully
the roof will get foamed soon.

Just the last window needs trim. We also plan to trim around the base of the tower.

The sills are getting poured in place.
The view of the second floor. Not much room after the stairs are in, but not too bad.
The stairs from the second floor to the third floor.
Three stringers for this set. We still want to do some reinforcing, since they don't have a supporting wall on either side. The treads are temporary. We'll wait until the sheet rock is up to put in the final ones.
Here's the step around I had to create because of the 10' ceilings we didn't plan the stairs for. We have to make the second step larger, but it shouldn't take much to do that.
The view up to the third floor. That's the library ladder we made this weekend. It will retract against the wall when we don't need to get onto the roof.
Much better than the 2X4s nailed to the wall to climb up onto the roof.
Solid ladder with a lot of slope to get on the roof. It makes me think of the ladder in 'Little House on the Prairie'.
Blocks between each step. They're the cut outs from the other stairs in the tower.
Father just got this hatch lid made for us. It's lightweight and fits perfectly. We hope to have hydraulics to help open and close it.
Pretty sunlight through the third floor windows.
The view through all four windows. After the roof is foamed, we shouldn't have any more leaks, and we'll be able to start with insulation.
Right now I'm looking at mini split ductless air conditioning systems. They zone better and no ducts.
