First floor from old dining area to the tower (still have some painting to do on this wall).

 

The first floor will remain concrete until we put up the rest of the house.

We got a loveseat up into my office, and my computer is hooked up. I still need to work on a better table cloth and seat protector for the couch.

Books are slowly moving up to my office. I'm leaving space in case Bart needs some space for his non-fiction books.

One picture up on the wall. I'm still contemplating the large flat wall behind the couch.

The computer section of Bart's office isn't that spectacular.

Looking the other way, all the fiction books are now in place.

The tower really belongs to George. Here he's trying to decide which book he wants....

Some work on the outside. A nice retaining wall on the side of the house where the foundation was showing.

The gargoyle now has a trench to spit into and a drain through the wall.

We think the wall is a great look and matches the tower. We plan to use the same blocks for the moat in front of the tower.

At the back corner of the house almost all of the foundation was exposed. It's going to take a lot of dirt to fill in the wall back here.

Our neighbor does brick and stone work. He spent a couple of days building this. We're really happy with how it turned out.
