504. David²⁸ MacHENRY, Earl of HUNTINGDON & CHESTER (Prince Henry²⁸ MacDAVID, Earl of HUNTINGDON, DAVID I²⁹ , MALCOLM III "Canmore"³⁰, DUNCAN I³¹ MacCRINAN, CRINAN "The Thane"³² ) was born 1144. David died 17 JUN 1219 in Yardley, England, at 74 years of age.

He married Maud (Matilda) deGUERNAN of CHESTER 26 AUG 1190. Maud was born 1171. Maud⁽³⁷⁰⁾ was the daughter of Hugh deGUERNAN 3rd Earl of CHESTER and Bertrade deMONTFORT. Maud died 1233 at 62 years of age.

David MacHENRY, Earl of HUNTINGDON & CHESTER and Maud (Matilda) deGUERNAN of CHESTER had the following children:

562 vi. John deHUNTINGDON⁽³⁷³⁾. John died 1237. He married Helen of Wales. Helen⁽³⁷⁴⁾ is the daughter of Llewellyn "The Great" apIORWERTH and Joan PLANTAGENET. On John's death without issue, Chester passed into the hands of the English Crown, in the person of Edward I, facilitating that king's eventual domination of Wales.
