1132. Hrolf (Rollo) (Robert I) "The Ganger"³⁵ (Rognwald³⁶ Jarl of MAERC, Eyestein³⁷ Jarl of MEARC, Ivar³⁸ Earl of the Uplands, Halfdan "The Old"³⁹ , SVEIDE "The Viking"⁴⁰)⁽⁸⁵⁶⁾ was born 846. Hrolf died 931(32) in Rouen. His body was interred in Cathedral at Rouen.

He married Lady Popa (Papie) deVALOIS.⁽⁸⁵⁷⁾ Hrolf later repudiated what was considered his "pagan" marriage to Lady Popa⁽⁸⁵⁸⁾, the daughter of Pepin deSENLIS Count Berengarius of BRITTANY and unknown. A Norse Viking called "The Walker", he became the 1st Duke of Normandy.
