1035. Richard I "The Fearless"³⁴ 3rd Duke of Normandy (William³⁵ ) was born 942. Richard died 996.

He married Gunnor deCREPON.⁽⁷⁶²⁾ RESEARCH NOTES: not a Christian Marriage Gunnor⁽⁷⁶³⁾ was the daughter of unknown deCREPON.

Richard I "The Fearless" 3rd Duke of Normandy and Gunnor deCREPON had the following children:

+ 985 i. Godfrey³³ Count d'EU & BRIONNE.

+ 1036 ii. Robert d'EVREUX, Comte d'EVREUX was born 989.

+ 922 iii. Richard II "Le Bon" 4th Duke of Normandy was born 996.

1037 iv. Emma "The Flower of Normandy". Emma died 1052. She married twice. She married ETHELRED II "The Unready". ETHELRED was born about 968. ETHELRED⁽⁷⁶⁴⁾ was the son of EDGAR "The Peaceful" and ELFRIDA of DEVON. ETHELRED died 23 APR 1016 in London, England, at 47 years of age. His body was interred in St.Paul's Cathedral, London, England. She married CANUTE. CANUTE was born about 995. CANUTE⁽⁷⁶⁵⁾ was the son of SWEYN "Forkbeard" of Denmark. CANUTE died 12 NOV 1035 in Shaftsbury, Dorset, at 40 years of age. His body was interred in Winchester.

1038 v. Hawise. Hawise died 21 FEB 1034. She married Geoffrey of BRITTANY. (Additional notes for Geoffrey of BRITTANY⁽⁷⁶⁶⁾) Geoffrey died 1008.

1039 vi. Guillaume Count d'EU was born 990. Guillaume died about 1054. He married Lesceline.
