86. Charlotte Sophia⁸ of MECKLENBERG-STRELITZ (Charles Louis Frederick⁹ ) was born in Mirow 19 MAY 1744. Charlotte died 17 NOV 1818 in Kew Palace, at 74 years of age. Her body was interred in St. George's Chapel, Windsor.

She married GEORGE III HANOVER in St. James' Palace, 8 SEP 1761. GEORGE was born in Norfolk House, St. James' Square, London 4 JUN 1738. GEORGE was the son of Frederick Louis HANOVER Prince of Wales and Augusta of SAXE-GOTHA. GEORGE died 29 JAN 1820 in Windsor Castle, at 81 years of age. His body was interred in St. George's Chapel, Windsor. (See GEORGE III HANOVER for the children resulting from this marriage.)
