210. Owain²⁰ TUDOR (Maredudd²¹ apTUDUR, Tudur²² apGORONWY, Goronwy²³ apTUDUR, Tudur²⁴ apGORONWY, Goronwy²⁵ apEDNYFED, Ednyfed Fychan²⁶ ) birth date unknown. Owain died 2 FEB 1461 in Mortimer's Cross, near Hereford.⁽¹²⁴⁾ RESEARCH NOTES: Taken prisoner and beheaded after the defeat at the Battle of Mortimer's Cross.

He married Catherine of VALOIS about 1431.⁽¹²⁵⁾ RESEARCH NOTES: Married in secrecy (it wasn't too healthy to wed the widow of King Henry V when the War of the Roses was just about to fire up).

Catherine was born in Hotel de St. Pol, Paris 27 OCT 1401. Catherine was the daughter of CHARLES VI of VALOIS King of France and Isabelle. Catherine died 3 JAN 1437 in Bermondsey Abbey, at 35 years of age. Her body was interred in Westminster Abbey.

Owain TUDOR and Catherine of VALOIS had the following children:

+ 190 i. Edmund¹⁹ TUDOR, Earl of RICHMOND.

211 ii. Jasper TUDOR, Earl of PEMBROKE. Jasper died 1496. He married Catherine WOODVILLE.
