He married Adeliza. Adeliza is the daughter of Roger I of TOSNY and Godehildis. Steward to William I "Conqueror"; fought at Hastings, 1066; received large estates in England; made Earl of Hereford shortly after 1066.

William FITZOSBERN and Adeliza had the following children:

1100 i. William³³ FITZOSBERN⁽⁸²⁰⁾. received the Norman Fitz-Osbern lands

1101 ii. Roger of BRETEUIL⁽⁸²¹⁾. Roger died after 1089. Earl of Hereford, 1071; received the English Fitz-Osbern lands; deprived of his earldom after the rebellion of 1075.
