The Trossachs are a popular holiday spot for city Scots. Although this stretch was mostly hillsides, other parts of the Trossachs are full of small, wooded lakes.

More of the Trossachs. This picture (and others) didn't quite capture the true colors visible to the eye, as there was almost always a lot of contrast between very bright hilltops and dark green shadows.
