137. Anne¹⁴ of Denmark (Frederick II¹⁵ ) was born in Skanderborg Castle, Jutland, Denmark 14 OCT 1574. Anne died 2 MAR 1619 in Hampton Court, Bucks., England, at 44 years of age. Her body was interred in Westminster Abbey.

She married JAMES VI\I STUART, King of Scotland and England in Uppsala, Sweden, 21 NOV 1589. JAMES was born in Edinburgh Castle, Edinburgh, Scotland 19 JUN 1566. JAMES⁽⁶⁵⁾ was the son of Henry STEWART Lord DARNLEY and MARY I STUART Queen of Scots. JAMES died 27 MAR 1625 in Theobalds, Herts., England, at 58 years of age.
