Margaret died 16 NOV 1093 in Edinburgh Castle, Edinburgh, Scotland, at 48 years of age.

She married MALCOLM III "Canmore" 9) 1068. MALCOLM was born 4) 1031. MALCOLM was the son of DUNCAN I MacCRINAN and Sybil of NORTHUMBRIA. MALCOLM died 13 NOV 1093.(442) (See MALCOLM III "Canmore" for the children resulting from this marriage.) Margaret of England, who fled with her brother after the Norman invasion invasion of England in 1066. Also known as St. Margaret (canonized 1250). Like her brothers, the twins, Margaret had been sent as a young girl to court of the King of Hungary, where she absorbed the vibrant sense of Christianity she was later to bring to Scotland.
